Iravatee Majgaonkar has been working with WCS-India since 2015 on research related to understanding carnivore distributions in semi-arid human modified landscapes. The Indian Grey Wolf Canis lupus pallipes interests her the most amongst all the large carnivores. She has been using methods from natural sciences and social sciences to understand how this species navigates in human-use areas. She has a keen interest in human-human relations as well.
