The Orange County Experience aims at delivering superlative amenities and services, while our guests are immersed in local experiences that are true to the land. From the native and eco-friendly architecture to the locally inspired activities, to interaction with the ethnic communities, the entire Orange County Experience is inspired by the local and designed to enrich your life.
In 1994, Orange County Resorts opened its first resort at Coorg based on the theme of Coffee, Spice & Plantation Life. The resort is situated amidst three hundred acres of coffee and spice plantations, flanked on one side by the Dubare Reserve Forest and on the other, by the river Cauvery. With its Heritage Pool Villas inspired by the Kodava Ainemanes or ancestral houses and its Plantation-themed Lily Pool Villas, the resort is designed to reflect the true spirit of Coorg. With every Villa featuring a Private Pool, this beautiful working plantation resort has married the finest guest facilities with outstanding service standards to offer its guests an idyllic retreat, inspired by the bygone, more relaxed era of gentleman planters. In a land where time stands still, the resort has kept moving, and today, Orange County Resort, Coorg, has come to be known as one of the finest in India.
Orange County Resorts & Hotels Ltd. opened its second resort at Kabini in 2007. Inspired by the local ‘Kadukuruba Hadis’, this resort was designed to transplant our discerning guests into a tribal milieu from which to enjoy the spectacle of Asia’s largest biosphere. With location and luxury coming together in such a happy union, Orange County, Kabini, is arguably India’s finest wildlife resort and affords our guests a chance to experience wildlife the tribal way.
Orange County, Hampi, the third and latest offering from Orange County Resorts & Hotels Ltd, opened its doors to our distinguished guests in 2016. Situated just 4 km from the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hampi, the resort is influenced by the architectural styles of the 14th century Vijayanagara Empire. Fashioned to transport one back in time to the glorious days of what was once described as ‘The best provided city in the world’, Orange County, Hampi is a fine example of the fusion of the modern luxuries with traditional architecture. With stunning rugged forests and boulders forming its backdrop, Orange County, Hampi mirrors the famed palaces of a bygone but glorious era.
Orange County Resorts and Hotels Ltd. is committed to the concept of ‘Responsible Tourism’ through which it seeks to enhance the economic, social and environmental well-being of the host community, apart from incentivising the retention and regeneration of their unique culture. The brand ‘Orange County’ is committed to employing the best in environmental and ecological practices in technology, equipment and operational processes.
